Farmers' Warehouse and Oil Mills processed and marketed cotton, cotton seed and oil

MCM played a large role as the foundation of the local economy. The Town used Mill images in their reports to citizens.

MCM demonstrated pride in its employees who served their country during World War II. A large monument in front of the Mill displayed all names.

Mooresville Cotton Mills supported the annual Victory Parade with floats manned by Mill personnel.
